Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients presenting in emergency surgery ward planned for exploratory laparotomy through midline incision where included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with previous abdominal surgery with midline incision scar Patients with increased intra-abdominal pressure intraoperatively
