Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: On pump cardiac surgeries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Off pump cardiac cases , current smokers , dialysis dependent patients or chronic kidney disease patients or renal replacement therapy during the admission but before surgery , COVID 19 positive , presence of diabetes mellitus , presence of haemolytic disease , pregnant females , age less than 18 years or more than 65 years , had received kidney transplant , are unable to unwilling to give written informed consent
