Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria includes bodies ageing 16 years or more which are involved road traffic accidents and who are brought to mortuary, Kasturba Hospital, Manipal.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Bodies which are at advanced stage of decomposition and having burn injuries.

MeasureTime frame
This study will provide insights into the pattern and impact of injuries among victims of road traffic accidents. Thus, raising awareness about types of frequent injuries and adhering to strict protocols of handling a victim of road traffic accident by first responders can reduce the fatality in road traffic accidents also the frequency of traffic accidents can be significantly reduced with on ground action of local authorities on identified geographical areas more prone to such accidents.Timepoint: 0 to 72 hours after death.
