Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects with chronic periodontitis with pocket depth of more than or equal to 5mm Selected teeth should be devoid of root demineralisation and or root caries Systemically healthy subjects Subjects with good compliance

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with systemic diseases and conditions Subjects who underwent periodontal treatment within 6 months prior to the study Smokers and Tobacco users Pregnant and lactating women
