Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients of age group between 35 and 65 years. Patients of both sexes (male and female). Patients with Diabetic Foot Ulcer with adequate arterial blood supply and venous drainage. All the patients with acute or chronic wounds measuring more than 5sq centimeters.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients on immunosuppression, corticosteroid, anti- cancer drugs Patients with Severe malnutrition Patients with hepatic dysfunction Patients with thyroid dysfunction Patients with renal dysfunction Patients with extensive burns in the area of treatment

| Cadexomer Iodine is found to be an effective antiseptic and helps in the healing and formation of granulation tissue in foot ulcers better than Povidone Iodine. It also helps in reducing the size of the ulcer and reducing the amount of discharge from ulcers. Significant improvement in granulation tissue is observed with Cadexomer iodine ointment application compared to povidone iodine ointment. Timepoint: 2-3 weeks | — |
