Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Children between age 6-9 years. 2.Dentin carious lesion involving single surface either occlusal surface or buccal surface, with normal appearance of gingiva. 3.Dentin carious lesion according to ICDAS criteria grade 4 or 5.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Medically compromised patient. 2.Uncooperative patients 3.Increased tooth mobility

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1 Assessing the retention of restored teeth will be on the basis of examination of treated tooth clinically by using USPHS (United States Public Health Service) criteria at 1 month and 3 months. 2 Assessing the retention of restored teeth will be on the basis of examination of treated tooth clinically by using caries associated with restorations and sealants (CARS) criteria at 1 month and 6 months. Timepoint: follow up at 1 week , 3 months and 6 months

1 To evaluate decayed missing filled surfaces score in all the primary & mixed dentition teeth. Timepoint: follow up at 1 week 3 months & 6 months
