Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients aged over 18 years. 2.Patients undergoing mechanical ventilation with orotracheal intubation using cuffed tube. 3.Patients period of intubation within the first 72 hours.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient with history of neck stiffness or movement restrictions are been excluded. 2.logistics regression analysis will be done to confront all the extraneous variables such as neck oedema, obesity (calculated based on expected body weight), patients with PEEP high >10, low
