Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion and exclusion criteria: (a) aged 18-45 years (b) patients with depression, diagnosed as per ICD-10 DCR, any gender, mild to moderate severity of depression (c) ability to understand and communicate in Hindi or English (D) Educated upto the class 10th.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria would be: (a) diagnosis of past or present any co-morbidity mental disorder; and (b) High-Suicide risk patients or any conditions that are potentially life-threatening or could limit participation (e.g., pregnancy, breastfeeding, disabilities). (c) History of attending three or more mindfulness-based interventions in the past two years. Patients would be withdrawable from the study if they (a) the absent for more than three therapy sessions during the research conducting period. (b) Suicidal tendencies or suicide attempts during the study period but their psychological help will be continued.
