Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Consenting adult patients between 18 and 65 years of age. 2.Either sex 3.Requiring general anaesthesia with endotracheal intubation for elective surgeries. 4.American Society of Anaesthesiologists Physical Status1-3

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with any feature of difficult airway such as maxillofacial anomalies, goitre or neck swelling, cervical spine fracture, facial fracture, restricted neck movements or cervical spine pathology, tumour of upper airway, and limited mouth opening and edentulous patients. 2.Patients who had undergone tracheostomy. 3.Patients requiring rapid sequence intubation. 4.Patients scheduled for fibre optic tracheal intubation. 5.Pregnant patients are also excluded. 6.Obese patients,BMI more than 30
