Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients above 20 years to 60 years 2. Irrespective of gender. 3. Irrespective of caste, religion 4. Patients belonging to any socio-economic class. 5. Patient with clinical symptoms of Urdhwaga Amlapitta as described in classical texts such as - Avipaka (Indigestion),Klama (Fatigue), Utklesha (Nausea),Chhardi (Vomiting), Tikta-Amlodgara (Bitter & Sour Belching),Aruchi (Anorexia),Hrit-kanthadaha (Burning sensation in throat and epigastric region) Shirshool (Headache),Gaurav (Heaviness)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patient below the age 20 years and above 60 years 2) Patient not willing to participate in the trial 3) Gastric ulcer 4) Perforate ulcer 5) Duodenal ulcer 6) Cancer of any grade of esophagus 7) Abdominal Koch s 8) Associated with any other serious systemic disease or complication 9) Pregnant ladies and lactating mother 10) Patient having symptoms of Grahani. 11) Patient suffering from chronic illness.
