Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Primary total knee arthroplasty performed for primary osteoarthritis of knee in KMC, Manipal 2. Only those patients where two different prosthesis designs are used in contralateral knees with minimum time of follow up being 1 year after the second surgery 3. Patients aged more than 50 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Postoperative periprosthetic fracture or infection 2. History of fracture, infection, dislocation of the knee joint or any procedure involving patella 3. History of systemic diseases affecting bone density such as renal osteodystrophy, inflammatory arthritis. 4. Valgus knee 5. Loss to follow up or unavailability of X-rays
