Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient aged between 18-45 years. The endodontically treated molar with one surface defect. The tooth in which root canal therapy needed to be kept for observation for longer duration. The tooth where the evaluation of healing of periapical lesion was needed.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient with poor oral hygiene. Severe or chronic periodontitis, heavy bruxism, other parafunctional habits like malocclusion. Fractured or visibly cracked tooth. Tooth with open apex, resorptive defect, calcified canals and serving as abutment
