In our study we will be including patients with total knee replacement. We will be giving Polyvagal Exercises with Knee Strengthening Exercises to see its effect on heart rate variability, pain and quality of life.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 50 to 75 years, both male and female. 2. Patients who have recently undergone total knee arthroplasty (unilateral and bilateral) 3. Willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with revision total knee arthroplasty. 2. Patients with severe arrhythmia or pacemaker. 3. Patients with history of neurological disorders diagnosed by physician (Parkinsons, stroke,etc) 4. Patients with history of respiratory disorders diagnosed by physician limiting their participation (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma) 5. History of other inflammatory conditions (Rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, etc) 6. History of recent lower limb fractures.
