Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of age group from 18-60 years. Patients of both sexes presenting with periapical abscess of teeth based on clinical history and physical examination findings. Patients with a confirmed clinical diagnosis of periapical abscess based on symptoms such as pain, swelling, and tenderness in the periapical region. Previously diagnosed cases of periapical abscess with sinus tract and without sinus tract (ICD-10 code K04.6 and K04.7 respectively) Patient who gave consent for the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects on an aspirin or heart therapy regimen. Subjects who suffered from oral cancer, cardiac disorders, psychiatric disorders, bleeding disorders, paralysis or oral sub mucus fibrosis. Pregnant women and lactating women are not included. Fractured tooth structure due to caries which are advised for extraction. Patients with Severe systemic illness. Extreme periodontal and gingival disorder.
