Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients presenting with pericoronitis with adequate attached gingiva present distally to the involved tooth. Radiographic evidence of the affected tooth with pericoronitis to assess the potential for further eruption of the partially erupted tooth. Patients who are systemically healthy. Age : 17-30yrs of both genders.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who have undergone previous pericoronal flap excisions on the same site within the last six months. Patients currently taking medications that may hinder healing or pain perception . Patients with active infection in the area of the procedure. Smokers Pregnant and lactating mothers
