Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects belonging to the age group of 30 to 65 years of both sexes Subjects having atleast one posterior tooth in two quadrants having probing pocket depth of 5mm and at least 5mm of clinical attachment loss or greater Radiographic evidence of an angular bone defect Patient who are willing for participation and follow up

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with systemic disease affecting periodontal health such as uncontrolled diabetes, immunodeficiency or osteoporosis History of periodontal surgery or locally delivered antimicrobial therapy in the past 6 months Allergic to tetracycline Smokers or individuals using tobacco products Pregnant or lactating women Patients with poor oral hygiene compliance and severe periodontal destruction
