Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Smokers who are aged 18 years and above will be included in the study 2) Participants who give informed consent for the participation in the study will be included in the study 3)Participants who are current smokers will be included in the study [Definition-An adult who has smoked 100 cigarettes in his or her lifetime and who currently smokes cigarettes] 4)Participants who are indulged in consumption of any forms of Smoking Tobacco (eg. Cigarette, Bidi, Hookah etc.) will be included in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Participants who are not willing to participate in the second stage (follow up) of the study 2) Participants who are not willing to give informed consent for the participation in the study 3)Participants who are former smokers will not be included in the study. (Definition-An adult who has smoked at least 100 cigarettes in his or her lifetime but who had quit smoking at the time of interview) 4)Participants who are former smokers will not be included in the study. (Definition-An adult who has never smoked, or who has smoked less than 100 cigarettes in his or her lifetime.) 5)Participants who had undergone any previous Tobacco Cessation Counselling sessions will not be included in the study 6)Participants who are under any form of pharmacotherapy for the purpose of tobacco cessation at present or in the past will not be included in the study
