Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients fulfilling 2019 ACR/EULAR criteria for SLE. 2. Active SLE as indicated by SLEDAI more than or equal to 1. 3. Onset of disease within the last 5 years. 4. Consenting to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe organ manifestations like heart failure, respiratory failure, and renal failure requiring hemodialysis. 2. Presence of hypotension, shock, or severe sepsis. 3. Presence of altered mental status or unconsciousness at the time of recruitment. 4. Presence of neuropsychiatric manifestations requiring the use of antidepressants and antipsychotics. 5. Patients who are physically unfit to do yoga due to conditions like fractures, hemiparesis, foot drop, etc. 6. Severe anemia, hemoglobin less than 8g%, or severe thrombocytopenia, less than 20,000/cumm. 7. Pregnant women and lactating mothers. 8. Patients who have been actively practicing yoga in the last three months.
