Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients admitted to SICU with sepsis of either gender above 18 years of age, sepsis was diagnosed as per sepsis -3 definition proposed by 2016 SCCM/ESICM

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Acute and chronic liver disease. Active thrombosis Malignancy/leukemia Autoimmune diseases Patients on antiplatelets/anticoagulants. Congenital platelet and coagulation/bleeding disorders. Pregnant patients
