Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Drug-na ve patients Aged between 18 and 45 years Meeting DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Refusal to provide informed consent Presence of comorbid major psychiatric disorders

Adjunctive treatment with Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALC) alongside Olanzapine will lead to a more significant reduction in negative and cognitive symptoms of schizophrenia compared to Olanzapine monotherapy alone, as measured by PANSS and MoCA scores over a 6-week period.Timepoint: 6weeks
