Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed (clinically or histologically) with undergoing laser fibrotomy for bilateral fibrotic bands.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with systemic conditions that may impair healing (e.g., diabetes). Patients with clinically or histologically diagnosed malignant lesion. Patients with active infection in oral cavity. Previous surgical treatment for OSMF. Pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in pain, burning sensation and edema which will indicate functional recovery. Wound healing which will reflect tissue repair efficacy.Timepoint: 3 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Patient satisfaction which captures patient-reported outcomes and quality of life improvement.Timepoint: 3 months
