Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients willing to comply with all study-related procedures and who have signed the informed consent form. Both male and female patients will be included. Patients with no significant or contributory medical history. Patients diagnosed with chronic periodontitis of varying grades (Grade A, B, and C).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Presence of chronic or acute systemic disorders. Pregnant or lactating women. History of use of local or systemic antimicrobial agents within 6 months prior to study entry. Current or past smokers. Patients presenting with periodontal pocket depth extending to the apex of the tooth, suggestive of endodontic-periodontal lesions. Patients diagnosed with aggressive periodontitis. Patients unable or unwilling to comply with the study protocol.
