Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients having age between 18 and 40 years irrespective of any gender. 2) Systemically healthy and co-operative patients will be selected. 3) Mandibular permanent premolars having deep caries approaching pulp radiographically. These teeth were diagnosed clinically as having necrotic or infected pulp and indicated for root canal treatment. 4) Mandibular premolars that exhibited carious involvement but had no prior history of restorations.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients having any developmental anomalies of teeth. 2) Tooth having presence of a swelling or a sinus tract adjacent to the involved tooth, tenderness on percussion, pathologic tooth mobility, excessive hemorrhage from exposure site indicating progressive inflammation. 3) Tooth with internal resorption as well external resorption as seen on radiograph. 4) Cases requiring retreatment. 5) Individuals on antibiotic therapy within the three months leading up to the study; teeth. 6) Teeth with calcified canals, immature apex, periapical lesions.
