Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Primary Outcome: Identification of risk factors associated with acne scarring - Assessing the influence of severity, duration, genetic predisposition, environmental triggers, and lifestyle factors on acne scar formation. - Stratifying patients based on Global Acne Grading System (GAGS) scores and Goodman & Baron s Quantitative Scar Scale. - Analyzing the role of serum Survivin levels as a potential biomarker for fibrosis in acne scarring. - Using Chi-square test and multivariate analysis to determine statistical significance of risk factor associations. Timepoint: Single time point: Data collection occurs at the time of enrollment, with no follow-ups | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| A.To assess the levels of Survivin in serum of acne individuals with scarring. B.To look for association of survivin in serum with the severity of acne scarring. C.To grade and compare the risk factors of acne scarring. Timepoint: Single time point: Data collection occurs at the time of enrollment, with no follow-ups | — |
