Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Individuals with primary Apical Periodontitis of single rooted anterior teeth associated with Apical Lesions of Endodontic Origin, and the absence of acute or chronic systemic diseases. 2 Individuals with a single tooth diagnosed with apical periodontitis with no response to pulp sensibility tests and with a Periapical Index score greater than or equal to 3.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Diagnosed non-communicable systemic diseases. 2 Obesity (body mass index (BMI) greater than or equal to 30 kg/m2) 3 Pregnancy 4 Acute infection 5 Smokers 6 Patients with previously endodontically treated teeth with periapical radiolucencies
