Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients within the age range of 30-60 years of either sex. 2. Patients who were systemically healthy. 3. Patients having minimum two sites in different quadrants with periodontal pocket depth (PPD)greater than or equal to 5mm and clinical attachment loss (CAL) greater than or equal to 3mm, associated with horizontal bone loss radiographically.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with the habits like smoking and alcohol consumption. 2. Patients with large carious lesions or any periapical infections. 3. patients with history of antibiotics usage or history of periodontal surgery in last six months. 4. Pregnant and lactating women. 5. Patients who are non-compliant or physically challenged. 6. Patients who are not able to maintain the oral hygiene or not able to follow up for their recall visit.
