Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Iron deficiency as per WHO Serum ferritin less than 12 micrograms per litre in less than 5 years old and less than 15 micrograms per litre for more than 5 years old
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children who have already recieved oral iron Blood transfusion in last three months Critically ill children
