Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with dentigerous cyst and radicular cyst. Age group in 2nd, 3rd and 4th decades of life. Cystic lesion measuring greater than 3x3cm2 in diameter in its greatest dimension. Histologically proven benign odontogenic lesions. Patients giving consent to the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with systemic diseases. Patients with habits like smoking and ethanol use. Age group in 1st decade of life. Cyst smaller than 3x3cm2. Multilocular Cystic lesions. Malignancies.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Decrease in the overall volume of the cyst thus resulting in better healing and reduction in the discomfort of the patient.Timepoint: Before treatment 6 months post treatment.
