Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Fasting plasma glucose 126 to 150 mg per dl. 2. Post prandial plasma glucose 200 to 250 mg per dl. 3. HbA1C 6.5 to 8.0 percent. 4. Patients between 25 to 60 years of age. 5. Patient of either sex. 6. Patient willing to sign the written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients of malnutrition with diabetes mellitus. Diagnosed complicated cases of Diabetes Mellitus diabetic ketoacidosis retinopathy neuropathy nephropathy coronary artery disease peripheral vascular disease cerebrovascular disease liver disease and hypertension. Known cases of Diabetes Mellitus more than 10 years Impaired organ functions. Pregnant and lactating women. Patient who fails to give consent. Mentally retarded and bed ridden patients. Patients having any type of malignancy.
