Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.ASA grade III fit patients. 2. Patients aged between 3 months and 12 years of age of either sex. 3. Patients undergoing cardiac surgeries for congenital heart disease and cardiopulmonary bypass. 4. Hemodynamically stable patients with all routine investigations within normal limits and without any comorbidities. 5. Written informed consent from the concerned patient.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who are not willing to participate in the study. 2. Patients with ASA grade IV and above physical status. 3. Patients who are aged less than 3 months and more than 12 years of age. 4. Patients who are posted for emergency procedures. 5. Patients with known allergy to the study drugs. 6. Patients who have facial and neck physical abnormalities that could make airway support difficult, respiratory diseases, severe myocardial depression, fever, chromosomal abnormalities, other multiple congenital anomalies or impairment of hepatic or renal function, endocrine dysfunction and epilepsy. 7. Patients weight less than 3 kgs 8. Cyanotic patients who have not undergone corrective procedure will be excluded.
