Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Term neonates presenting with respiratory distress within 24hours of birth admitted to either inborn or outborn units of SNCU

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Neonates with major congenital anomalies 2. Congenital heart defects 3. Chromosomal abnormalities 4. Birth asphyxia

To find Lactate Dehydrgennase Creatine Phosphokinase MB Creatine Phosphokinase Alanine Transaminase levels as prognostic markers in neonates with respiratory distress with special reference to meconium stained liquor.Timepoint: within 6 to 48 hours of admission

1.Duration of oxygen therapy 2.Requirement of mechanical ventilation 3.Length of hospital stay 4. outcome of patient Timepoint: outcome has to be check till the stay of patient it could be 2 to 10 days
