Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with difficult airway requiring videoscope assisted nasal intubation under general anesthesia. 2.ASA PS 1 to 3 3.Patients with mouth opening less than 2cm

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with 100% POGO score on initial videolaryngoscopy 2. Large oral or oropharyngeal tumors 3. Bulky flaps in oral cavity 4. Nasal tumors or polyps 5. Bleeding disorders 6. Fracture base of skull

MeasureTime frame
The primary objective of the study will be comparison of improvement in glottic view as assessed with POGO score during indirect laryngoscopy using CMAC video laryngoscope in patients with difficult airway in left head rotation position versus epiglottis lifting techniqueTimepoint: At time of laryngoscopy, 1 minute after administration of suxamethonium

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The secondary objectives include assessment of ease of intubation, time taken for intubation, use of bougie, need for external neck manipulation or cuff inflation for proper alignment of the endotracheal tube to glottis, hemodynamic responses during intubation & incidence of desaturation to less than 95%.Timepoint: Ease of intubation & time taken for intubation will be noted immediately after intubation. Heart rate & blood pressure will be noted after induction, 1,3,5 & 10 min after intubation.
