Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria: Adult patients aged 18 years or above. Patients posted for elective major cancer surgery. First visit to PAC OPD during the study period 1 July 2024 to 31 March 2025. Availability of complete clinical, laboratory, and comorbidity documentation in the PAC registry and electronic health records.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria Emergency surgeries. Patients with incomplete or missing key data e.g. missing lab values, comorbidity documentation. Repeat visits during the same surgery episode, only first PAC visit to be considered.

To estimate the prevalence of single and multiple comorbidities among adult oncosurgical patients presenting for pre-anesthetic check-up at the PAC OPD for the first time at MPMMCC Varanasi between 1st July 2024 and 31st March 2025.Timepoint: First vist at PAC OPD

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To determine the prevalence of individual comorbidities. To estimate the proportion of patients with RCRI score more than 1. To determine the prevalence of patients among those with RCRI more than 1, with elevated serum NT-proBNP levels based on age-specific cut-off values. To estimate the prevalence of preoperative anemia, defined as Hb less than 12 g per dL for females and less than 13 g per dL for males.Timepoint: First vist at PAC OPD
