Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: children with all four fully erupted permanent mandibular1st molars without any hypoplasia/fracture. children with pits and fissures which are deep and prone to caries. children with un restored and unsealed tooth children with occlusal surface fully visible children with free of mucosal tissue and deep pits and fissures children with cooperative attitude children with satisfactory oral hygiene

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The children with carious, restored and developmental anomalies of molars. children with one of the molar on either side is grossly carious or restored, molar teeth with antagonist teeth not present. children with self -cleansable pit &fissures special children were excluded from the study.
