Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with malignancy and infections in the palate who have been planned for maxillectomy. Including Brownâ??s classification- vertical component of II, III, IV and horizontal component of b,d. Audibility of participants will be assessed subjectively with H/o hearing loss, ear pain, ear discharge and objectively grading by pure tone audiometry pre surgically.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Infected with cold, allergies before or during the period of examination. Primary and secondary tumors or metastatic tumors of any part of the auditory system. Any ear related dysfunction and hearing defect. Neuromuscular disorder, vocal cords injury. Patient undergoing radiation therapy > 50 Gy.
