Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: I. Children undergoing elective paediatric surgery with 1. Age of 6 12 years 2. Ability to understand Hindi/English 3. Ability to wear Virtual Reality (VR) headset. II.Caregivers of the children who 1. Can communicate in Hindi or English 2. Provide informed consent for participation in the study for themselves and their child. III. Healthcare providers (including surgeons, anaesthesiologists, administrators and nursing staff) 1. Who are involved in the perioperative process 2. Who are willing to share feedback in interviews or Focussed Group Discussion (FGD).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: I. Paediatric patients who 1. Are scheduled for emergency surgeries 2. Have severe cognitive, developmental, or neurological conditions that might hinder wearing and engagement with the virtual reality set. II. Children and caregivers who decline consent or withdraw at any point from the study. III. Healthcare providers unable to participate due to scheduling constraints or unwillingness to be recorded.
