1 microgram/kg in 100 ml NS before 15 mins of inductions and for Maintanence we give inj PROPOFOL I

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ASA 2/3. Malampatti Grade 1/ 2/3 Duration of surgery less than 5 hours Patient able to give written & informed consent. Glasgow Coma Scale 15/15 undergoing elective supratentorial surgery
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient not willing for procedure. Patient with scalp infection Patients having uncontrolled Diabetes, Hypertension, Liver and Kidney disorders. Pregnant patients. Hypersensitivity to any local anesthetic drug or drugs used in this study. Patients with significant h/o drug or alcohol abuse, psychiatric illness Patient on b blocker and calcium channel blocker Patients with history of neurological/ cognitive deficits, myopathy, mental disability Patients with a significant history of brain tumor greater than 30mm in any dimension
