Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients showing symptoms of Darunaka (dandruff) like Twak sphutana (scaling), Rukshata (dryness), Kandu (itching) 2. Visible Dandruff flakes under Trichoscope 3. Males & females age group between 18 to 50 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Scalp psoriasis, scalp eczema, other kapalgata vyadhi. 2. Patients having history of skin diseases, atopic dermatitis, and on oral medications e.g. Systemic antifungal, systemic steroids, systemic antibiotics, systemic anti-inflammatory agents or topical steroids, topical anti-inflammatory agents, topical antibiotics or topical treatment of adherent dandruff (e.g. antidandruff shampoos/ oils/ gels/ creams/ conditioners). 3. Erythema, folliculitis or any other inflammatory scalp features visible under Trichoscope. 4. Patient suffering from autoimmune disorders like SLE, immunological deficiencies, uncontrolled metabolic disorders like Diabetes mellitus & pregnant woman. 5. Patient not arha for Shiroabhyanga.
