Intervention1: Enhanced Recovery after Surgery Protocol guidelines: Patient being planned for elective gastrointestinal surgery will be subjected to preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All Patients undergoing gastrointestinal surgeries (elective) Age group 18 years to 70 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients undergoing palliative procedures such as feeding gastrostomy/jejunostomy Patients undergoing reoperation Patients undergoing hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgeries Patients undergoing emergency surgeries
