Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients who are on mechanical ventilator 2. Patients on sedative and analgesics medication, coma or impaired consciousness.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with pre-existing eye disorders. 2. Patients who have undergone recent eye surgery or experienced trauma to eye prior to ICU admission. 3. Extubated patients admitted in ICU.

MeasureTime frame
To assess the severity of occular damage before & after the implementation of the Exposure Keratopathy prevention protocol among ICU patients. To assess the visual outcomes of patients after the implementation of the Exposure Keratopathy prevention protocol among ICU patients.Timepoint: at baseline incidence of exposure keratopathy will be assessed for the period of 12 weeks intervention for prevention of exposure keratopathy will be provided in ICU for next 12 weeks & simultaneously incidence will be assessed—
