This clinical trial will be performed to understand the add on effect of Viddhakarma along with Vidangadya taila nasya in the management of Vataj pratishyaya (allergic rhinitis) which includes the symptoms such as sneezing, hoarse voice, nasal discharge and nasal congestion etc.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients showing minimum 3 symptoms of vataj pratishyaya; i.e. pihita nasa, tanustrava, gala shosh, shankh nistod, swarbheda, bhrusham khsav (kshavathu).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Acute infectious diseases. Known cases of nasal polyp, tumors of nose, DNS requiring surgical intervention. History of nasal surgeries in past one month.

To identify the difference of treatment for management of vataj pratishyaya. To compare the effectiveness of treatment over the period of time. To compare the efficacy of vidangadya taila nasyakarma with or without viddhakarma.Timepoint: 15 days treatment with 3 follow ups on 4th, 8th and 15th day.
