Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed cases of PCOS by the Rotterdam criteria. Patients aged between 16-45 years (unmarried/ married patients). Patients suffering from oligomenorrhea and amenorrhea. The patients who are fit for the Basti procedure will only consider for the study. Patients willing to give written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients not willing to give voluntary informed consent. Pregnant women. Patient using oral contraceptive pills. Patient with any organic reproductive system abnormality, pelvic inflammatory disease, hydrosalpinx, tubercular endometriosis, fibroid uterus. Patient with positive sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Hepatitis B Surface Antigen (HbsAg). Malignant disease and patients on cytotoxic drugs. Patients who are contraindicated for Basti etc.
