Intervention1: Ocimum Sanctum: Ocimum Sanctum 6C in 40 size globules 3 globules twice a day for 5 weeks Control Intervention1: Homoeopathic constitutional Medicine: Constitutional medicine given orall

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Those cases with Fasting Blood Glucose greater than 135mg/dl 2) Type 2 Diabetic patients of age group between 30-70 years of both sexes will be selected.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with severe complication of type 2 diabetes mellitus like nephropathy, neuropathy, retinopathy and other severe infectious diseases. 2) Patients with FBS above 300 mg/dl 3) Cases with other serious illness like carcinomas, or severely immune compromised. 4) Chronic smokers and chronic alcoholics. 5) Patients under insulin therapy.
