Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Participants with unilateral hemiparesis due to stroke. 2. Onset of duration more than 6 months. 3. Participants who can walk independently more than 10 m with/without mobility aids. 4. Participants who can perform Sit to Stand Independently. 5. Mini-Mental scale score of more than 24.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Participants who had experienced falls or trauma and had injured their lower limbs during the past 6 months. 2. Participants who use KAFO for ambulation. 3. Any musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory disease, or neurological manifestations that contradict the use of the study protocol.

MeasureTime frame
Peak amplitude of the Biceps Femoris and Rectus Femoris muscles will be taken in microvolts.Timepoint: The amplitude of these muscles will be taken during both the ascent and descent phases of kneel squatting once.
