Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA gr. I and Gr. II patients 2. Patients posted for laparoscopic lower abdominal surgeries 3. BMI 18-35 kg/m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal 2. Patients with bleeding disorders and those on anticoagulant therapy. 3. History of allergy to local anaesthetics. 4. Infection at the site of block. 5. ASA Gr. III and Gr. IV patients

MeasureTime frame
1.Duration of Analgesia 2.VAS scores in first 24 hours 3. Time to first rescue analgesic inTimepoint: Postoperatively VAS score will be assessed every hour for an initial 10 hours and then 2 hourly till 24 hours.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Any adverse events and Complications due to block Timepoint: Patient followup will be taken up to 24 hours postoperatively.;Patient satisfactionTimepoint: Follow up will be taken up to 24 hours postoperatively.
