Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients diagnosed with localised stage III Grade A periodontitis, with pocket depth greater than or equal to 5mm 2.Minimum of 1 and maximum of 8 sites. 3.Age greater than or equal to 18 years old with at least 20 remaining teeth. 4.Patients willing to comply with the study protocols and follow-up visits.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with systemic diseases 2.Pregnant or lactating 3.Tobacco smokers 4.Previous periodontal treatment in the last 6 months
