Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Both male and female of age group 65-74 years (according to the Elderly in India 2021 report) 2. Diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment (Montreal Cognitive Assessment with a score of 18-25. MoCA is a highly sensitive tool for early detection of MCI, with a sensitivity of 90%) 3. Capable of walking independently without any assistive device for at least 10 meters (to ensure they can safely engage in balance and strength training exercises without additional support) 4. Willing to participate in a 6-week intervention program. 5. Able to read and understand english and follow simple instructions.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Neurological conditions such as Parkinson s disease, multiple sclerosis, peripheral neuropathy, stroke, or vestibular disorders affecting balance. 2. Cardiovascular unstable conditions including uncontrolled hypertension, recent myocardial infarction (within 6 months), shortness of breath, or severe arrhythmias. 3. Musculoskeletal conditions like severe osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, recent fractures, or surgeries (within the last year) affecting lower limbs. 4. Visual or hearing impairments that may affect balance or communication. 5. Currently undergoing physical therapy or participating in other structured exercise programs involving strength or balance training.
