Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Children within the Age range of 4 to 12 years. 2. Children diagnosed with Autism by Speech Pathologist or clinical psychologist or developmental pediatrician, based on Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS) assessment 3. Children with speech production deficits and presence of oral fixation behaviors

| This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) in improving sound production, oro-sensory regulation, and oral health among Indian children with Autism. It will provide evidence-based insights for structured, culturally relevant OPT protocols. The study may reduce long-term therapy costs and improve communication, social participation, and quality of life for children with ASD.Timepoint: 1. Improvement in sound production as measured by speech sound repertoire assessments at baseline, 5 months, and 10 months. 2.Improvement in oro-sensory regulation as measured by Marshalla Oral Sensorimotor Test (MOST) at baseline, 5 months, and 10 months. 3.Improvement in oral health-related quality of life as reported by parent questionnaires at baseline, 5 months, and 10 months. | — |
