Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Adult patients (more than or equal to 18 years) admitted to the ICU with a primary diagnosis of pneumonia. 2) Patients admitted to ICU requiring a stay of at least 48 hours

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with history of ischemic heart disease. 2) Patients with lung malignancy. 3) Patients with pre-existing mitral valve lesion. 4) Patients with acute pulmonary oedema. 5) Patients with Interstitial lung disease. 6) Pregnant patient. 7) Patients with obstructive airway disease.
