Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who provide written informed consent HbA1C: 7-9 % Patients already on stable glucose lowering agents

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Type 1 Diabetes Pregnant and Lactating women Chronic liver disease Renal disease eGFR less than 60 Heart failure -NYHA III and IV uncontrolled thyroid diseases Cushing s disease autoimmune diseases HIV Other disease that can affect body weight History of current eating disorders or current smoking
